The final conference on project BEVIN dataBase of Effective opportunities in the field of Validation of non-formal and Informal learning (№2015-1-PL01-KA204-016557) was held on September 7th in Central Park Hotel in Sofia.
The conference was attended by more than 50 people, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, teachers, trainers, mentors, youth workers, etc.

The participants were welcomed by Mrs. Rumyana Shalamanova who is the manager of RUNI Center. She presented the activities implemented in the realization of the project, the project results and its products- the database and the trend analyzer. There were lots of discussions regarding the role of the validation and certification of knowledge and skills acquired through non-formal and informal education, as well as the measures taken to regulate these processes. The lack of coordination and proper approach by governmental institutions slows down the process of validation and certification which makes Bulgaria one of the most underdeveloped European countries in terms of validation and certification of knowledge and skills acquired by non-formal and informal education.

All of the participants expressed their satisfaction with the project, the quality of the products, the discussion of the validation and certification of knowledge and skills acquired by non-formal and informal education. The conference ended with an informal conversation in which the participants had the opportunity to exchange personal opinions and contacts as well as to share their views and experience.
