We carried out this task in different languages to find most recent and reliable information on various tools.
As to agree with all project partners, also for BEFO from Latvia collection of the 70 tools for validations of non-formal and informal learning was far more challenging than previously expected. Not only had we researched comparably small countries such as Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Czech Republic and Slovakia, but also carried out this task in different languages to find most recent and reliable information on various tools. Gladly our staff is multicultural and we managed to select 70 existing initiatives in the areas of: information technologies, related to, for example, ICT safety in work environment or overall digital skills competence; employment-related key competences or specific professional competence recognition in different specific fields, such as engineering, ecological agriculture, dairy sector. Also tools emphasized soft skills and skills for personal growth and different foreign language skills for study, work or volunteer abroad.
